These are super breathable, lightweight and squat proof. My one issue with them is they ride up a bit and I have to pull them back down now and then. I am 5’3” 140lb with an athletic build and ordered a medium with 3” inseam if that helps. They fit true to size
I bought these in a size XL (I sized up) in both the colors MAGENTA PURPLE (pictured) and PEPPER RED. I didn't take pics of the red pair, but they're just a regular true red.For sizing reference, I'm usually a medium-large or a 8-12/29-31 in bottoms and jeans. If it helps, I wear a size 6 or 8 in Lulu leggings. I'm 5'3" tall with a short torso, and my measurements are about 44"-33"-44" (bust-waist-hip) right now, give or take.I sized up in these because I was worried they'd cut into my thighs, but honestly, they were looser than I'd like so I should have gone with my normal large. I have the Tom Tiger leggings in this exact style in both a medium and a large (I have reviews of those as well) and both fit me, so I should have known better. With that in mind, I found these to be TTS, so I'd say go with your normal legging size. These did not cut into my thighs or my waist, but that is potentially because they were bigger. In the pic I included of the back, it looks like they're cutting into my waist, but that's just a roll that's there anyway, lol.As for the material, it's a more thin and slick athletic-type; it's the same one Tom Tiger uses for their leggings as well. I've found I really prefer something brushed and soft instead, so I don't really love it. I don't wear shorts to the gym because I'm way too conscious of my legs (I got these more to wear around the house), but the material is great for that since it dries pretty fast. These do have a scrunch in the back, but just like I complained about with the leggings, it just isn't enough to do much. I have a bigger butt, so my leggings already get sucked up there anyway (😅), and I just don't find it does much to help in that regard. These do have a small seam at the top, but NO ELASTIC BAND, thankfully. I will say the same thing I said with the leggings, which is that I wish the waistband was a little taller, as I find this just emphasizes my lower tummy fat, but that's just me. The fit girlies look super cute in them, and if you don't care about things like that, go for it.I ended up returning these but would still recommend them to someone looking for cute gym shorts at a good price. I've always liked Tom Tiger because they seem to actually pay attention to their customer base (or they used to be active in social, not sure about now), so I'm sure the customer service is still excellent.
These are so buttery soft, squat proof, gives you a nice lift. Love these they’re worth every penny!! True to size
I loved these shorts. I'm 145, 5'4" with an athletic/curvy build and ordered the Large. These were easy to get on and fit nicely with minimal rolling up. The material is a nice, buttery soft material and color is true to size. The only thing I would change or warn is that it's so soft and stretchy that I didn't get much compression from these - which isn't terrible but sometimes I like being "held in" in these shorts so, just know what you want before you order!
Absolutely love these! I got a small even though Amazon recommended the medium. I’m 5’3 150 carry mostly in my butt and thighs. I completed a full leg day workout with these and they DID NOT ROLL! I’ve yet to own a pair that doesn’t roll up on me so I’m very impressed. Very soft, cute color, perfect length for the thicker thighed girlies, and flattering. I’m going to get one in every color 😂
